From Italy it sounds and sounds @alexbeyond.official @clubrmxradio @remixradiofy Alessandro, aka Alex Beyond, is a DJ who began playing dance music as a teenager and continues to play it today. We’re talking about the very early 90s when he bought his first vinyl records. Those were the times when Italodisco was all the rage: songs like “The rhythm of the night”, “Rhythm is a dancer”, “Send me an angel” and many many others resounded in every disco on the Venetian mainland. But it was also the period in which Techno music and subsequently Trance and Hardcore took hold in Italy in historic discos for the genre such as Number1 in Brescia or Cocoricò in Riccione or Jaiss. Alex immediately made this broad genre his own, greatly appreciating authors such as Rexanthony, Scooter, Armin Van Buuren and most of the DJs of Northern Europe. However, his main point of reference is DJ Molella of radio Deejay from whom he assimilates, from his Megamixes and afternoon broadcasts, musical trends and mixing techniques which he then puts into practice in nightclubs, standing out for his precision and inventiveness. Same qualities that Alex now puts into his DJ sets and podcasts which you can listen to here. In this current moment in which the dance and techno genres merge to become EDM, Alex finds a large pool of new producers from which to draw very current songs and sounds without forgetting the “best vibes of all time”.
